Friendly staff and down to earth food. Only the furnishings could use a little pep.

Nice little hotel with a restaurant, everything was clean and well-kept. Food tasty and plentiful. Everyone is friendly and accommodating.

The service was unfortunately very resistant to complaints. But if I have ordered something specific and I don't get it the way it should be, I get a little sensitive. I ordered a yeast wheat, when it came I asked if it was a crystal wheat, no it wasn't according to the statement of the waitress it was a yeast wheat good I said because it was missing unfortunately only the yeast was not reacted to it. My table neighbor also had a wheat that was a bit gloomy but unfortunately half was missing. I ordered a rump steak with my meal. English please with emphasis on English it almost got through. Then the waitress explains why there is blood on the plate. There was no more great reaction Since I've also worked as a waitress myself for years, I know what it's all about. I was very disappointed that there was no reaction to what I complained about and nothing was done. I shouldn't not allow myself that in my company, at least I would never ignore it. The food itself was not bad, the meat was tender, no question about it, but everything around it counts for me too. I would have exchanged the wheat immediately and at least expected an apology for the rump steak.

Great price-performance ratio, unbeatable proximity to Europa Park. Food very tasty. Rooms were also great and standard furnished. Breakfast a nice selection And staff very friendly :-)

My wife and I were totally blown away with the food here. The price / quality ratio totally meets our expectations and will eat here again when the opportunity arises!

Great food friendly staff very good food

While staying in the area to enjoy the parks, we stopped by this hotel restaurant this evening to eat there. We arrived at 8:30 pm and were greeted pleasantly despite the language barrier. The dishes are very good, very generous and very nicely presented. We will not fail to stop there again on the next visit to the region.

Great food, good sized portions

Cute, cozy hotel with excellent cuisine. Staff mega friendly, attentive, also very flexible. You can always find a solution. Breakfast buffet sufficient and fresh. Room has everything you need. WiFi could be better. Hotel is well located for bike tours, inline skating or walking. Europapark about 8 km away.

Excellent food. Very good and friendly staff. Giant compliments to the kitchen.

If you have holidays or time is at the right address. The duration from ordering to serving corresponds to the fresh preparation of the food. Also from the price you really can not complain. Our condition has survived even with a smile on my face. (And not all sheep). Keep it up and good luck.

Booked this hotel for one night as a stopover. Food was very tasty and more than adequate. Rooms simply furnished and somewhat old-fashioned, but clean. Service at check in also great!

Unfortunately not the same thing anymore

Good hotel also 10 minutes from Europe park. Only downside I slept in the room of 4 (2 regular beds and 1 bunk bed) and I lay in the bunk bed and I sat with my head against the shelf above and my feet below (I am around 1.75m tall) but for the rest it was okay

Big compliment! The food was excellent! Beautifully arranged plate. The steak was roasted beautifully rosé as requested. Very large portions at a really fair low price. In addition, a very inviting atmosphere. Has completely convinced us!

Very good meal. We have been there many times and with the new ownership I was a bit nervous. Nothing to fear. Just as good as Ralf used to make. We'll be back.

Very good food and rooms.

I booked a non smoking room and all of my clothes smelled as if I would be a chainsmoker after my stay. When I arrived I was told there was recently a break in attempt. So I did not feel too secure back then, though nothing happened during my stay. Breakfast was good and the staff was nice.

We only spent a single night here and it was still really nice. The people here are very friendly, the rooms were clean and everything worked (water, electricity, w-lan, etc.). The restaurant is also good, the ownly downside were the insects. A lot of flies will annoy you while you're eating. All-in-all it was nice and I'd recommend it to anyone who just wants to spend a night here.
